I was born at the Jersey Shore and spent my life at the beach watching the beautiful ocean seas, boating and admiring the beauty of the sunflower fields & green pastures of the Garden State. Enjoying my appreciation of the local color of the ever-changing seasons of New Jersey. It was a wonderful place to grow up. 

As a child my grandmother was the most inspiring person in my life. She was my Blessing, a teacher and a very creative person. She taught me everything I know, how to cook, crafts, gardening and how to be the best person I can be. 

I have never been formally introduced or trained in art. One day I found my grandmothers paint set after Hurricane Irma and felt the need to paint a photograph of a image I took with acrylic paints on canvas. While I was painting I personally watched some magic take place. Being told by the local artist to continue painting I haven't stopped and I am enjoying every minute of it.   This is where "livin' in local color" evolved and is a dream come true. Creating and sharing the vision of me livin in local color. I love when people tell me how beautiful my paintings are because it all come from a feeling within that I am now able to share.
